Akbar Jasmine Green Tea is a blend of the finest quality Chinese Garden tea and fresh Jasmine flowers. Green tea from Yunnan is harvested in spring and carefully stored until summer when Jasmine flowers start blooming in the hills of Hengxian County. Each evening, the tea is carefully layered with fresh Jasmine flowers which open and release their subtly sweet fragrance into the tea. Jasmine Green tea originates from the Song Dynasty over 800 years ago. In northern China, it is served to welcome guests.
